In order to be considered for the Bonner Scholars Program, candidates must complete the following steps:

Apply to Wofford College by the Early Action round (November 15).
Complete the Bonner application.
Demonstrate your financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Provide at least one letter of recommendation. Letter(s) of recommendation can be submitted through the personal link emailed to applicants upon submission of the Bonner Scholars application.

Essay 1
Tell us a little about yourself. How do you feel your actions demonstrate who you are in the world?

Essay 2
Describe a social or justice issue that you feel is particularly urgent in your community and/or in society at large; and explain why you chose it. What do you know about it? Why is it so urgent? What questions do you have about it? How might you work with others to positively impact it?

Essay 3
Bonner Scholars value diversity of all kinds (e.g., racial, ethnic, socio-economic, religious, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc.). Please describe an experience you have had that helped you recognize the value of diversity. What exactly did you learn from it?

Resumé
Please attach a current resume that lists the service, community activism, and other civic engagement activities in which you have been involved and/or the family and work responsibilities you have had during the past four years.
