Candidates must complete this application in its entirety to be considered for acceptance as a Scholar Participant of the Launch Program. Acceptance and participation are afforded at the discretion of the Launch Program and Career Center.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents. Candidates must also be enrolled as full-time Wofford College students. Students must demonstrate adequate progress and maintain active status to retain their membership in subsequent semesters.

Requirements

Students will be required to participate in opportunities designed to increase their entrepreneurial skillset. This includes attending semester meetings, discovery events, coaching sessions with the Launch Program Manager, attending workshops relative to their entrepreneurial stage, and pitching their business idea in the annual Terrier Startup Challenge.

Admission Criteria

The Launch Program strives to build a thriving, equitable, and inclusive environment supportive of Wofford student entrepreneurs and innovators while strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

All applications must be completed and accompanied by two uploads.

     (1) 500-word essay discussing the barriers and opportunities for entrepreneurs starting business following a global pandemic

     (2) Three-minute video introduction that also describes your future entrepreneurial goals
